Nov Outdoor kitchen groundwork begins

November work weekend went really great thanks to the efforts and planning by Kieva, Steve, Patricia, David , Chris and little helpers Alex, Blake, Elijah and Jeremiah. We can't leave out the hospitality of Heidi ,Brian, McKenna and Avery as they provided many delicious meals for the hardworking crew. The goal of the weekend was to clear a pad for the outdoor kitchen to accommodate a tent 30'x16'. Steve ,as usual, manuvered the backhoe like sweet music. Ed and Steve brought in several loads of rocks to raise the level of part of the pad then packed it with bedding sand. Gears then switched to the woodworking project in which a 10'x4' worktable was constructed along with four counter top tables. Meanwhile , Chris and David gots dibs on the backhoe and proceeded to make countless trips gathering bushes and debris collected in volumn by Janette months earlier. Then the kid team took the piles and tried to burn the collection in the firepit and didn't mind at all mixing business with pleasure as the schmores got priority in the workflow. It is so satisfying to see so much accomplished with such a magnificient group of guys and gals and kids.
